Intricately worked in clay until totally life-like, each bust is with the greatest of care, individually cold cast in Bronze. When this delicate and lengthy process is complete and the cast is set and removed from the mould, the artist skilfully burnishes each individual Bronze figure by hand to a radient finished patina worthy of the Louvre. Working in his own dedicated studio , the artist Peter Close completes every process on an individual basis, and entirely by hand.
